How much is a birthday cake?
0.5 lb 290 baht · 1 lb 390 baht · 2 lb 590 baht · 3 lb 790 baht. Sculpted designs, extra tiers or imported fruit cost more, and we always tell you the full price before you confirm.
How far ahead do I need to order? Can I get one today?
Our normal queue is 1-2 days ahead. Sooner is possible when the queue allows, with a 20% rush fee on the cake price because your order moves ahead of others. For sculpted designs or festival periods, allow 2-3 days. We are closed on Mondays, so for a Tuesday pickup please message us by Sunday.
Do you deliver? How much is delivery?
We deliver ourselves only within 5 km of the shop and only after 17:00, for 50 baht. During the day we are running the shop. Further than 5 km, please pick the cake up at the shop; fresh-cream cakes lose their shape easily on long drives.
I am staying in Khao Lak. Can I still order?
Yes, with pickup at the shop. We are in Takua Pa Old Town, about 35 km from Khao Lak, a 30-40 minute drive. We do not deliver long distances, but message us first if pickup is really not possible.
Can you write a message on the cake?
Yes, free of charge, in Thai or English. Up to about 30 characters looks best; for longer messages we will lay it out to fit.
How do I pay? Is there a deposit?
Bank transfer or PromptPay. We start your cake once the order is confirmed and the deposit is paid. You can pay a deposit or the full amount; the rest is paid at pickup.
Allergies or ingredients I don't eat?
Our cakes are made with wheat flour, eggs, milk, butter and sugar. Some recipes contain nuts, chocolate, green tea or fruit. Tell us in the order notes (less sweet, no nuts, no alcohol and so on) and we adjust where the recipe allows. We bake in a shared kitchen, so we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact; for severe allergies please call us first.
How should I store the cake?
Fresh-cream cakes should go in the normal fridge compartment. Take the cake out about 15 minutes before serving. If you are travelling far, tell us and we will pack it for the trip.
Can I change the date or cancel?
You can move the pickup date if you tell us before we start making the cake. Once we have started, or for special custom designs, orders cannot be cancelled. Message us any time to talk it through.
Do you make snack boxes for meetings?
Yes. Morning or afternoon breaks for meetings, seminars, trainings and parties in Takua Pa and Phang-nga, with homemade snacks and drinks, packed in boxes. We issue receipts with the shop's registration number. Please tell us the number of people and the date in advance.
